From the BMC Toys American Hero Collector Series, the weapon that hunted Allied Tanks on two fronts: The WW2 German Jagdpanzer IV Tank Destroyer features lots of authentic detail, opening hatch, long and short barrel options, and hatch that opens to accommodate optional Tank commander figure. Made from stiff Tan color ABS plastic and measures 11.5 x 3.6 x 2.75 inches tall and is approximately 1:32 scale.
This Tank's official designation was JaghtPanzer IV, Sd.Kfz. It saw combat at Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge, and the Eastern front, and over 8,500 were produced. This toy vehicle was originally designed and sold by Sell Toy Co. This 2024 BMC Toys version is manufactured using the the original plastic injection tool with some improvements including the interchangeable barrels and new Tank commander based upon figure originally designed by Classic Toy Soldier Company.
