From the BMC Toys Classic Toy Soldier Collector Series, the Army that almost conquered Europe. The WW2 German Artillery 15 piece Plastic Army Men Set features a 88mm Flak 18 cannon, two 88mm Flak 36 cannon, and 12 German troops in 4 different poses. Both Artillery models rotate on their bases, and the Flak 36 feature armored shields and barrels that elevate and lower by turning a knob on the side. Soldiers include 3 man Artillery crew and an Infantryman. Figures are made from Tan color soft plastic with lots of detail and stand up to 2.4 inches tall. Artillery is made from Tan hard plastic and measure up to 3.5 inches tall or 7.75 inches long. All pieces are approximately 1:32 scale.
The Flak 36 cannon was initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 1997, and the Artillery crew figures were around 2012. The Flak 18 was originally made for hobby collectors by The Toy Soldier Company and modeled after the version that was included in many famous Louis Marx & Company Battleground Playsets from the 1960s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. and Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make these figures and accessories available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate Plastic Army Men figures, accessories, and Playsets in the classic realistic classic realistic miniature style of the 1950s and 1960s.
These figures and accessories are the perfect addition to any WWII European Theater Playset or school project diorama. Packaged in plain white box with label and recommended for ages 5 and up.
