From the BMC Toys Classic Toy Soldier Collector Series, the war that divided a nation. The American Civil War Soldiers 31 piece Plastic Army Men Set features 15 powder-blue Union troops in 10 different poses and 16 charcoal-gray Southern forces in 10 poses. Made from fairly soft LDPE plastic with medium detail and a little flashing. Figures stand up to 2.34 inches tall and are approximately 1:32 scale.
These Soldiers were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company. The figures are a mix of reproduction and original plastic injection tools that were included in the famous Blue and Gray Battle Playsets offered by Louis Marx and Company in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate Plastic Army Men figures and Playsets in the classic realistic classic realistic miniature style of the 1950s and 1960s.
These figures are a perfect addition to any American Civil War Playset or school project diorama. Packaged in clear bag with header card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
