BMC Classic Marx WW2 Axis Ambush 14pc Set Brown [ Case: 36 | Pack: 12 ]

From the Classic Army Men Collector Series, BMC Toys brings back another American toy from yesteryear. This 14 piece of WW2 AXIS AMBUSH accessories includes 3 Pillbox Bunkers, 3 Ruined Building Corners, and 8 Barbed Wire Fence sections. All pieces are made from fairly flexible HDPE plastic and some pieces may have a little flashing. Pillboxes and buildings are brown color, and the barbwire fence sections are silver-gray. The fences measure 4.8 inches long by 1.1 inches tall and connect together to make over 3 feet of barricade. Please note the barbs are very pointy and should be handled with caution and kept away from children younger than 5 years of age. The pillboxes measure 6 x 2 x 2.5 inches tall and features 3 open loopholes for Battle hardened firing positions. The building corners measure 5.75 x 2.5 x 3.1 inches tall and features a fixed partial door that offers excellent cover for an ambush.

These pieces were first produced in 1958 by Louis Marx and Co. for their legendary Battleground Military Playsets and were included in numerous Sets spanning many years. These are some of the most iconic Plastic Army Men accessories of all time, and this new production is manufactured using the original PL939 and PL-933C plastic injection tools.

This is a Set of real American Made plastic toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up, and played with for many years to come. Packed in clear bag bag with insert card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
